Painting with a Purpose

In our ongoing commitment to give back to the community, Painting with a Twist proudly sponsors a monthly fund raising class – Painting with a Purpose. Proceeds from Paint with a Purpose are donated to local non profit organizations. Painting with a Twist has donated thousands of dollars to local non profit organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Multiple Sclerosis and Odyssey House. Mandeville - N. American Jr. Dressage Championship Fundraiser
6/3/2012 - Come join us for a very special Painting with a Purpose to help fund the Region 9 Junior and Young Riders to the North American Dressage Championships in Lexington Kentucky on July 17-22. It is the premier Equestrian Competition for Jr. and Young Riders ages 14-21. Riders come from 9 regions the US, Bermuda, Canada, Mexico, Pueto Rico, and the Carribean Islands.

New Orleans - Painting With a Purpose: Muscular Dystrophy
6/20/2012 - MDA is the nonprofit health agency dedicated to curing muscular dystrophy, ALS and related diseases by funding worldwide research programs. The Greater New Orleans Muscular Dystrophy Association (local district) also provides comprehensive health care and support services, advocacy and education. The Association's comprehensive services program includes diagnostic and follow-up medical clinics at Children’s Hospital and the LSU Healthcare Network, flu shots, support groups, MDA summer camps for youngsters, a medical equipment loaner program, assistance with equipment repairs and resource referral. The Greater New Orleans office currently serves over 580 families in Southeast Louisiana. The Association also hosts a number of public awareness events including the Muscle Walk and ALS Symposium.
